But the one thing that they have overlooked constantly is the healing and pawsitive power of canine belly rubs. Because no matter how bad a day you have had, no matter what madness is occupying your mind, the moment that you lay hands upon a darling doggo's stomach and begin to pet, all that negativity melts away. And instinctively you feel safe, seen, and valued, not to mention that the doggo receiving the belly rubs is pretty stoked on what's happening as well.

While science has not yet definitively figured out why it is that both us and our doting doggos love the belly rubs so much. But one thing that we can say from all that we have observed is that there is likely some sort of energetical connection, like a spiritual umbilical cord emanating from our doggo’s stomachs that we can connect to through belly rubs.

Oh lordy, this person has literally zero chances of getting any kind of work done with this pawdorable pupper lying on their lap like this. We would be consumed by the cuteness of the cuddles and would likely even forget that there was work to be done in the first place.
